I'm looking for the most comfertable wetsuit for Diving and Surfing. I'm getting a full wetsuit 4/5mm. What's the best brand for price, quality, comfort, and durability?

Oneill, makes the best wetsuits that I have ever used. Comfortable, flexible and warm. I was able to stay in the water for an extended period of time after purchasing my Oneill 3:2 hammer full suit. I would say definitely look at Oneill and possibly Rip Curl if you don't see anything you like.

I second the suggestion of Xcel. I have several wetsuits (for diving and kayaking) and I like my full Xcel 3/4 mm surfing style suit best of all of them. Great fit, quality construction, nice materials. I've also looked at Henderson in shops and was impressed by the quality of those. Camaro makes some decent suits too (my boyfriend has one). I DON'T like O-Neill or Body Glove. They run horribly small, are cut strangely so they don't fit normal people well and they are cheaply finished. ADDED: If you're on a budget and are not squeamish about used gear (yeah, people pee in their wetsuits -- nothing soap and water won't take care of) I have had good luck buying used wetsuits on Ebay. I got my Excel full suit that way, a $200 suit for only $35 that looked like it had never been worn. Amazing how many people buy the gear for a sport and then freak out and never do it again after one bad outing and sell the whole kit off.

Most folks don't want the same suit for both as surfing specific wetsuits sometimes have a less wear proof outer lining and don't hold up as well. If you are going to get one suit, get a high quality one like O'Neill and plan to pay about $300.

a 4/5 wet suit is pretty thick and hard to move around probably good for diving but i dont know about surfing specially if the water you surf doesnt get below 45 degrees pretty much a waste of money, right now i surf with a 4/3 O'neil Mutant its pretty comfortable takes some getting use to but it was well worth 300 dollars

Sounds like you need some comparisons. The best source for wetsuit info, in my experience, is Scuba Magazine. They test and review gear constantly:

I've always liked bodyglove.
