it depends on where you put the stickers, how big they are, and how often you wax your board. I have a few stickers on mine and I don't notice any difference performance wise. But I use a funboard. I'm not quite sure if there would be a difference in putting surf stickers on a longboard, shortboard, or funboard. It shouldn't mess you up. But just to be safe, if you have any older surf boards, put stickers on there and test it out. If it works, there you have it.

it depends on which side you put it on and how badly you want stickers on there, wax on a long board is put really over the whole top because of your normal standing position and then also walking the nose so theres really no room on the top unless its to the side and if a sticker is placed on the bottom, when your riding the wave or could lift up and drag, also if you leave the sticker on for a long time it leaves a lighter patch on the board when or if you decided to take it off again, basically i suggest its not a good idea.

make sure you have a straight edge, ruler or a book handy to smooth out all the bubbles if you're doing a large decal. Start at one side and use the ruler to push it down evenly across the whole decal. Nothing uglier than a huge sticker with a air bubble under it.
Performance wise- you probably won't notice any difference.

putting stickers on your board won't do anything unless a sticker is where you place your foot, then i would recommen you wax it evey time you go for a surf.

If they are going on the water surface it will only create some drag topside - they will make your footing surface slick ...unless you wax frequently
