I'm getting a new longboard. I know how to ride it and all, I want to learn more sliding. My budget is $100-$150. I'm looking at these Santa Cruz longboards, links here: first, the rasta drop thru, http://www.amazon.com/gp/aw/s/ref=is_s_ss_i_0_19?ie=UTF8&k=santa+cruz+rasta+drop+through+cruzer+9+cruiser+skateboard&i=aps&sprefix=santa+cruz+rasta+dr

Second: the Pomona http://www.amazon.com/gp/aw/s/ref=is_s_ss_i_0_14?ie=UTF8&k=santa+cruz+pomona&i=aps&sprefix=santa+cruz+pom

Which do you suggest? Thanks in advance.

I know it wasn't under what you listed but I'd honestly just pay the extra $50 and get a Sector 9. They are so worth it and they're awesome and will last!

Both of the links are pretty much the same board but with different designs. Either of them will suffice for transportation. Size is purely based on preference. Smaller boards are easier to store and allow more control so they are my favorite.

A quality complete board will be a little over $100 and you'll get what you pay for, meaning it will last long and ride well. If you go to a skate shop, they can help you fit the best size board for you, or if you order online you can customize every detail. Hope this helps and have fun skating!

180s seem to special for a 37 inch board, in the journey that your getting a longboard that small your prob gonna in basic terms be making use of to to get around college. i might def decide on the 150s. I easily have a 37" board and experience Paris 150s on 70mm wheels. It turns incredible and speedy and maintains to be incredibly solid at velocity.
