Hello, I've recently been getting into body surfing, and figured in order to help me catch more waves, I'd get myself some fins. I happened to find a pair at a thrift store for only $8, so I figured why the hell not and buy them.

These are the fins I have: http://www.ausdiving.com.au/catalogue/product.php/2/3/14/11/900

Is it fine if I use these for body surfing? They are intended to be "snorkeling" fins, but I figured they seemed in between dive fins and surf fins in regards to size/length.

Sure you can use them, the price was right, those fins will work but they are made more for constant movement that's why there big, just more work to take off quick, depends how much you use your bodyboard if you want to spend the money on different fins

Right...that's an interesting...fact.Why not buy bodyboarding ones ? Because they're more suited to a body that is floating, with a board? Is that it? Hm...

I guess you could give it a go. Divers can go really fast thanks to their fins, and if you're body surfing, it'll come in handy....sounds awesome, you know what I might actually do the same that's a good idea !
